Japan, Wales, and Scotland have been hard done by, but it is the women's organisation that had no eligibility criteria, and looks like Ireland abused good faith, and made their criteria "fancying a game".
I think the FIL will rectify this, and hopefully restructure the competition in four years time, because Ireland do not deserve a top group place, nor would Irish girls 'proper' want to compete at that level.
I hope their all star ringers actually set foot in ireland and try to develop irish lacrosse, not just wall display their shirt
